Spinning Wheel Size
What size spinning wheel should you choose?

When we talk of "spinning wheel size" we are referring to the number of pins or numbers on the wheel, not its physical dimensions. The physical dimensions of all our wheels are the same - 2m tall, 80cm diameter, and they come aprt into three pieces so they fit in a car boot.

Our spinning wheels come in a variety of sizes. We have 48, 60, 64, 72 and 100 pin wheels. Why so many? And which one should you use?

The size of your crowd is a factor - it will be hard to sell 100 tickets if there are only 100 people present. It might seem obvious that the more tickets there are, the longer it will take to sell them - but this is not so. Opt for the larger wheel - we recommend 64 or 72 pins as giving a good return for an average crowd, 100 pins for a bigger crowd.A 48 pin wheel with tickets selling at $10 will have the same prizes as a 100 pin wheel with tickets selling at $5

WHICH IS EASIER TO SELL?

It is not the number of tickets that makes it easy to sell,

nor is it the price of the ticket,

BUT RATHER THE QUALITY OF THE PRIZES

Using data from the table below, compare the value of prizes. Will people want the goods that can be supplied for $12, or would they prefer to be taking a chance to win something worth $50?

A few $5 spins throughout the course of the day between $2 spins might be easier to sell than a continual stream of $1 spins - BECAUSE THE PRIZES ARE MORE APPEALING - and opt for a larger wheel to make those prizes even more attractive
